Not every goat hunt ends as quickly as this one did for K. Allen. After a 3 hour horse ride in the rain up to camp and a quick lunch, several goats were found in a basin a short walk from the tent. When this goat walked into view, it was obvious he was a shooter. A short stalk and a perfect shot ended the hunt on the first day with a 50 0/8 inch record book quality mountain goat.
